Gastric Imaging (Gastroscopy)

Gastric imaging (Gastroscopy) is a completely painless procedure in which a thin and flexible instrument (gastroscope), with an electronic camera at the end, is used to observe the inside of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum, and check for pathological changes. If necessary, tissue samples can also be removed painlessly for fine-tissue examination. The gastroscopy is carried out with the patient fasting. Before the examination a pre-examination discussion is held with the doctor.
